Work Health and Safety

Our WHS plan includes the formulation of official policies, and is accompanied by both formal and informal procedures. It is a responsibility that requires both management and staff to be constantly vigilant and always compliant.

Whilst our WHS system and procedures are flexible and adapt to the dynamics of this trade, they strongly reflect and are influenced by the legislative requirements that are imposed.

ACS consistently consult with staff and clients on WHS issues, staff meetings have a strong focus on the health and safety and our safety training days allow us to ensure that our WHS policy is understood and implemented.

On a practical level, it is mandatory that the self-check system is completed prior to any work commencing; information that is gathered includes but is not limited to:

  • Outline any Occupational Health and safety aspects of concern for the site
  • Outline their level of risk to any personnel both employed and not employed by ACS
  • Apply appropriate measures to diminish the identified risk
  • Get approval from management prior to the commencement of work.
